2014 RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop
April 14 – 16, 2014
The Westin Ottawa Hotel
The RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop is the leading professional development workshop for federal and industry environmental professionals involved in the management and remediation of federal contaminated sites.
2014 marks the 5th installment of the biennial RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop. This milestone will be celebrated in the city where it all started back in 2006 – Canada’s National Capital! This years program will offer a wide variety of opportunities to learn about technical, operational and organizational challenges to the effective management and remediation of federal contaminated sites, as well as new approaches and techniques to address them.
The April 14 Professional Development Training Day will provide technical and management specialists with an opportunity for in-depth learning in both English and French on a variety of topics.
The April 15 and 16 Workshop will feature concurrent oral presentations, keynote addresses, poster presentations and dedicated tradeshow time. Site visits will also be incorporated into the program to provide a close-up view of the special challenges and benefits of environmental remediation in an urban setting.
The Workshop program and trade show will be held at The Westin Ottawa Hotel and will bring together and facilitate networking between event partners, government representatives, academic researchers and private sector firms.
Ottawa, our Nation’s Capital, is the home of government organizations such as the Government of Canada, Parliament, the Senate, and the Supreme Court of Canada and has more scientists, engineers and PhD’s per capita than any other city in Canada. We are delighted to once again be hosting the RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop in Ottawa. We hope that you will join us in making the 5th biennial National Workshop a success.
See you in Ottawa!
