2019 Forum on the Workplace

The Real Property Institute of Canada (RPIC) is pleased to announce the 2019 RPIC Forum on the Workplace. The 2017 Forum was very popular and we expect 2019 to sell out again. The biannual event will take place on May 14 and 15, 2019 at the Ottawa Shaw Centre, in the Nation’s Capital.
The 2019 Forum theme, Who Moved My Workplace? will explore workplace transformation topics such as Change Management; Technology; Health and Well Being; Design; Policy; and, Procurement. The workplace continues to evolve at a rapid pace so come to learn, come to contribute and come to debate. This Forum has been designed to follow the story of what is currently taking place within the Real Property community as well as offer a view to the not so distant future. The 2019 Forum will focus on the people, the places and the technologies that we interact with and manage daily. Come to see what your role is in this evolving, ever moving workplace storyline; find your workplace!
The #RPICforum2019 program is focused on creating clarity around critical workplace issues in the federal Real Property community. Keynote presentations and four streams of concurrent presentations will focus on the latest developments, trends and best practices in workplace management. Numerous networking opportunities and dedicated time to meet with members of the industry have also been incorporated into the program.
The four streams will dive deeper into the following topics:
- The Changing Workplace – The how and the what of workplace change management
- Technology – What role can technology play to improve the workplace experience
- Best Practices – Thinking about design, health and wellbeing, policy all the way to real work productivity
- Innovation – How leadership, procurement, communication and human resources can positively impact workplace transformation
