CORCAN is a key rehabilitation program of the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC). It contributes to safe communities by providing offenders with employment and employability skills training while incarcerated in federal penitentiaries, and for brief periods of time, after they are released into the community. This is done through on-the-job and third-party certified vocational training that focuses on our four business lines: Manufacturing, Textiles, Construction, and Services. CORCAN's work supports the social policy of the Government of Canada to safely reintegrate offenders into society in a way that promotes their success as Canadian citizens.

Cisco Company Overview
Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) is the worldwide leader in IT that helps companies seize the opportunities of tomorrow by proving that amazing things can happen when you connect the previously unconnected. At Cisco, customers come first, and an integral part of our DNA is creating long-lasting customer partnerships and working with them to identify their needs and provide solutions that support their success.

·The concept of solutions being driven to address specific customer challenges has been with Cisco since its inception. Husband and wife Len Bosack and Sandy Lerner, both working for Stanford University, wanted to email each other from their respective offices located in different buildings but were unable to due to technological shortcomings. A technology had to be invented to deal with disparate local area protocols; and as a result of solving their challenge - the multi-protocol router was born.

·Since then, Cisco has shaped the future of the Internet by creating unprecedented value and opportunity for our customers, employees, investors, and ecosystem partners and has become the worldwide leader in networking – transforming how people connect, communicate, and collaborate.

Cisco Digital Building/Workplace Experience
Today, global technology trends are reshaping the way in which real estate is designed, constructed, operated and occupied. The explosive proliferation of Smart Devices, Internet of Things and Big Data/AI are breaking down silos and converging the  worlds of the Csuite, Facilities, Operations, HR, Marketing and IT. Smart/Digital Buildings are solving key business problems including CAPEX, OPEX, sustainability and flexible working environments.

· The key to maximize value and building asset performance is to adopt a multi-faceted collaborative approach and engage all stakeholders EARLY.

·During the three days at the RPIC Conference, the Cisco Team will focus on:

a)      Vision of a Smart/Digital Building

b)      Building of a Smart/Digital Building

c)       Dynamic Value  Propositions of a Smart/Digital Building

Booth #39 - Public Services and Procurement Canada - Workplace Solutions

Public Services and Procurement Canada has a mandate to provide offices and work environments for Government of Canada operations and, in that role, it has developed a vision of a Government of Canada workplace as well as a set of principles to align with the Destination 2020 objective of a supporting a high-performing Government of Canada workforce. Evolving from past concepts, this modern GC workplace is future looking and positioned to deliver key foundational elements such as flexibility, efficiency, (employee) health and wellness, collaboration and innovation, digital capacity, sustainability, inclusivity and accessibility.

In the vision of the "GCworkplace" employees are empowered to choose where and how they want to work, thus creating a more efficient, healthy, and flexible workforce that also increases productivity. There is also a strong emphasis placed on mobility and leveraging technology, recognizing that activity-based work is the way of the future and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to office design.

The principles of "GCworkplace" are developed with the needs of today’s workforce, as well as those of tomorrow’s, in mind. One of the big questions facing the Government of Canada is how to attract and retain top talent, and the "GCworkplace" takes a step towards answering that question. PSPC is engaging Government of Canada organizations and employees-at-large in a conversation about the "GCworkplace" through a variety of channels, inviting everyone to join in and share their thoughts using "#GCworkplace".

On invite tous à s'y joindre: "#milieudetravailGC".
