CORCAN is a Special Operating Agency within the Correctional Service of Canada with the mandate to assist offenders to reintegrate back into Canadian society when they are released. CORCAN achieves this mandate by providing employment training and employability skills to offenders while they are incarcerated as well as a range of employment services to help offenders find a job once they are released, thus reducing the risk that they will re-offend.
