Participants joined in person in Ottawa and virtually as the community collectively championed community-building and celebrated excellence in the federal real property community.

RPIC’s long-established Real Property National Workshop expanded to become the RPIC Summit. Bringing together all facets of the federal real property community, the Summit was a must-attend event for federal leaders, influencers, decision-makers, technical and functional heads, managers, and delivery groups to come together to learn and build relationships.

Thirty years ago, the first workshop focusing on the real property community was held. Thirty years later, the work of participants had never been more important to advancing key Government of Canada priorities, including climate resilience, workplace modernization, reconciliation, and housing infrastructure.

The Summit combined the focus areas of several previously independent events — including the Real Property National Workshop, the Real Property Greening and Sustainability Workshop, the Federal Contaminated Sites Workshop, and the Forum on the Workplace — into a single, overarching gathering. Attendees experienced offerings across all RPIC key subject matter areas, including:

In addition to high-quality learning sessions, the Summit program included engaging keynote speakers, the annual RPIC Awards, speed mentoring, a lively and topical vendor exhibition, and numerous opportunities to network and connect.
