2026 RPIC Summit

Building on the success of the inaugural 2025 event, save the date for the RPIC 2026 National Summit, taking place October 27–29, 2026. Bringing together all facets of the federal real property community, the Summit is a must-attend event for federal leaders, influencers, decision-makers, technical and functional heads, managers, and delivery teams to connect, learn, and build lasting relationships.
The Summit consolidates the focus areas of several previously independent events—including the Real Property National Workshop, the Real Property Greening and Sustainability Workshop, the Federal Contaminated Sites Workshop, and the Forum on the Workplace—into a single, comprehensive gathering. Attendees can expect programming across all of RPIC’s key subject matter areas, including:

Department of National Defence
Ashley Barnard is a public sector real property professional, specializing in workplace strategy, asset management, and change management. She currently serves as a Planning Advisor within National Defence’s Assistant Deputy Minister – Infrastructure & Environment organization and has volunteered with RPIC since 2020.
Throughout her career, Ashley has held roles with National Defence, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and Public Services and Procurement Canada, advancing workplace modernization, RP program development, and large-scale real property initiatives.
Ashley holds Bachelor’s degrees in Art History (Queen’s University, 2007) and Interior Design (Algonquin College, 2011), and is a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner (2021).

Ronnie is experienced working across several federal departments including Health Canada, National Defence and PSPC, where he has contributed to real property program management and strategic project delivery. His roles have ranged from project leadership to portfolio management, where he has contributed collaboration, adaptability, and service.
